Working philosophy

I started as a Java engineer at EdgeVerve in 2009, building text-analytics tooling for some of the largest retailers in the world. I moved into product in 2017 and haven't looked back, though the engineering years still pay for themselves every time I have to argue with a staff engineer about what is actually feasible.

I work where products touch money, identity, or risk: device financing, KYC, fraud, and customer data. Mistakes are expensive and often slow to surface, so I care more about measurement than demos.

For the past three years, I have shipped generative AI to large consumer bases: an agent co-pilot for a 300M-subscriber telco, LLM search on Galaxy phones, and semi-autonomous marketing agents on a $1B+ financing platform. The model is rarely the constraint. The evaluation loop is.

The through-line is that I like problems where the feedback is slow and expensive, because that is where measurement earns its keep and where most teams quietly guess instead.
